Colliers and ABSL to renew strategic partnership

The Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL), an organization representing the modern business services sector, and Colliers, a global leader in real estate and investment management, are extending their cooperation for a third consecutive year.

Despite the uncertain geopolitical situation and macroeconomic conditions, Poland remains an attractive market in the CEE region for investors in the business services sector. One of the factors determining the attractiveness of a location is access to adequate office infrastructure. According to Colliers' analysis, adaptation of the office market to the changing needs of business, regulations for the sustainable development of companies, as well as new work models, is necessary to maintain a leading position in this area. The strategic cooperation of ABSL and Colliers in 2023 will focus on supporting the sector’s companies in the challenges they face in the area of space and work planning, and to provide solutions tailored to the changing needs of the market.

“Poland has once again maintained its position as the leading office market in the Central and Eastern European region. This confirms the growing interest of investors and tenants who are expanding their operations in the country. Access to attractive offices, despite the popularity of remote working in the business services sector, is still one of the most important reasons for investors to choose a location, along with the availability of employees. That's why we rely on cooperation with experienced partners such as Colliers to facilitate foreign investors' entry into the market. In a post-pandemic reality, changes in attitudes to work, and rising operating costs, it is crucial to strike the right balance between the needs of employees, organizations, and market trends. And for this we need proven partners," stresses Janusz Dziurzyński, President of ABSL.

Colliers is a global real estate services and investment management company with operations in 63 countries and more than 18,000 professionals. Together with ABSL, Colliers experts will further support member companies to maximize the value of real estate for tenants, owners, and investors (including market research), lease negotiations, location strategy, advisory services for creating work environment strategies and change management, ESG, architectural design, project management, as well as new technologies dedicated to real estate.

“In recent years, the needs of tenants and employees have significantly changed, especially in the business services sector, which generally has a hybrid work model. Among the key factors that investors are paying attention to are issues related to employees’ wellbeing, their individual needs, and the creation of a working environment that is aimed at integrating the team and enabling experience, rather than mere utilization. Proptech solutions are also of great importance, such as applications that facilitate the use of office space, parking, support the building of social ties in the workplace and the enhancement of health-related safety. There is also a growing emphasis on ESG issues, driven by regulatory changes, but also by companies' greater awareness of the environmental impact of business, including real estate. Our experts, whose expertise extends far beyond the real estate sector, stand ready to support our business partners in these challenges, by advising, sharing their experience and offering inspiration," says Monika Rajska-Wolińska, CEO of Colliers in Central and Eastern Europe.
