As the voice of the shared services sector, representing over 220 companies, ABSL has prepared a declaration of diversity as recognition for the equality of all employees. It is a set of good practices that ABSL member organizations commit themselves to follow, by the principle of equal treatment in the workplace, based on gender, age, disability, race, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, political beliefs, membership of the LGBTQ+ community (sexual orientation, gender identity), form of employment, and other grounds of exclusion.
During COVID-19 most Tech Teams have been working fully or partially remote. Specialists spend three times less time working with their managers and teams than before. 75% of enterprises expect Tech Talent shortages to affect their business in the future , however almost 40% of HR leaders are not aware of the abilities their employees possess . Key to success is the recognition and measurement of specialists’ skillsets which, coupled together with solid data and the use of modern tools for talent management, can bring about good understanding of your teams as well as flexibility in both augmentation and the scaling down of required resources.

The Ministry of Labour presented the first proposals to regulate remote working (praca zdalna). The analysis carried out by ABSL shows that it does not fully meet the challenges and needs of employers and employees. ABSL will take part in the further consultations on the draft.
