The City of Lodz Office, in cooperation with Goodylabs, has created a job portal that will help connect local companies looking for employees with potential candidates. Profi.lodz.pl is a dedicated portal with job advertisements for specialists in the modern business services sector and the IT industry, which was created in response to the growing number of graduates of faculties with profiles focused on new technologies, qualified personnel and new residents of Lodz who have relocated from Ukraine.

On www.profi.lodz.pl local companies can create their business cards and publish any number of recruitment ads. Job seekers can browse offers by filtering them by criteria such as industry, type of work, type of contract, and position. Candidates can also search for a specific company and view its business card and find employers in a specific industry. The portal has been enriched with guidance content, suggesting to potential employees how to effectively go through the recruitment process and prepare the documents necessary in its course.

The portal is completely free - both for companies and users looking for a job through it.

"It is very important for our city to support those who have chosen Lodz as their new home. The local labor market offers a great deal of opportunities, so it is crucial to get to the right information and capture offers and employers whose recruitment proposal best matches the candidate's profile and skills. The new portal provides a number of opportunities that make this easier," says First Vice President Adam Pustelnik.

Companies that have selflessly expressed their willingness to help have contributed to the creation of this unique project. We thank Goodylabs, which designed the portal in response to the needs of the local market.

Lodz has been strengthening its position on the map of high-tech cities for many years. The number of domestic and foreign investors from such business sectors as Software Development, Gaming, Cloud, Cyber Security or e-commerce is increasing every year. The influx of new investments contributes to companies' demand for new specialized employees.

The city has a huge potential for human resources. The BSS sector now includes 105 major international companies with more than 30,000 employees. The latest success is the entry of the American giant TaskUs. The IT sector has more than 23 thousand employees.
