In 2024, our Working Together program will be filled with inspiring initiatives that champion inclusivity, diversity, and the celebration of the core values that unite us as a community. Throughout the year, we will shine a spotlight on our efforts to promote neurodiversity, advance women’s roles in the workplace, and foster multigenerational communication. Join us in the coming months and see our focus for the upcoming months!
Women Together: Empowering women in the sector
Women constitute over 50% of the employees in our sector, a testament to their pivotal role in driving innovation and growth. Yet, despite their numbers, women often face challenges in gaining the recognition and opportunities they deserve. Our Women Together initiative offer a platform for female mentoring, encouraging sisterhood, and fostering a community where women can share their experiences, challenges, and successes. Through workshops, networking events, and discussions, we aim to address the unique challenges women face in the workplace while highlighting the opportunities available to them. After a successful pilot program in Wrocław, we are excited to expand these initiatives to new cities within the ASBL Chapter network, with grand premieres expected in cities renowned for their commitment to promoting the sector.
Promoting neurodiversity: Embracing diverse minds
In our ongoing commitment to inclusivity, promoting neurodiversity is a key focus of our Working Together program. We recognize that every mind is unique, and neurodiverse individuals bring invaluable perspectives and skills to the workplace. By fostering an environment that embraces these differences, we are not only enhancing our collective creativity and problem-solving capabilities but also ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported. As part of promoting neurodiversity in the workplace, we will explore tangible strategies that ensure inclusivity and support for neurodiverse employees and discuss them with experts as well as seek best practices in our member companies. Expect a fruitful discussion that will sum up these efforts soon!
October: A month of celebration and growth
As we look forward to the events of October, we are reminded of the power of our values in shaping a more inclusive and collaborative workplace.
One of the most intriguing challenges in today’s business centers is navigating the dynamics of multigenerational communication. Our workforce comprises individuals from various generations, each bringing different experiences, expectations, and communication styles to the table. The key to effective communication across generations lies in our shared values: trust, respect, courage, openness, and solidarity. These values serve as the foundation for building understanding and collaboration between generations. Trust encourages transparency and reliability, respect fosters mutual appreciation, courage allows for open dialogue, openness invites the exchange of ideas, and solidarity unites us in our common goals. By living these values, we create a workplace where all generations can communicate efficiently and effectively, leveraging their diverse perspectives to drive innovation and success.
