We know the winners of the ABSL Diamonds Awards

Ten innovative projects in six categories: We got to know the winners of the ABSL Diamonds Awards – the most prestigious competition of the modern business services sector which is aimed at promoting novel solutions and appreciating contributors to development of the sector. The awards were given during a festive gala at the Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw, in which the most important representatives of the business services sector, the government, local authorities, science and the media took part.


This year’s edition of the competition received a record-breaking response; the jury assessed as much as 110 projects submitted by sixty-two firms in six categories: Business Excellence, Customer Experience, Vibrant Workplace, Employer Branding, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Talent Development & Education.

Innovations are the key factor for business service centres. Nowadays, modern business services belong to the most dynamically developing Polish business sectors. It is owing to novel solutions that the business centres operating in Poland can launch increasingly advanced tasks, deal in complex processes and increase their effectiveness. The wide resonance to the invitation to the competition is all the more positive, said Piotr Dziwok, President of ABSL.

As in the previous year, awards went to both major and minor business services centres. Therefore, each competition category envisaged Tigers: companies with smaller number of employees operating less than five years on the Polish market , and Lions: the biggest players in their respective sectors.

Category: Business Excellence

  • Credit Suisse Polska: project for digitalization of HR processes.
  • Category: Customer Experience
    Shell Polska Sp. z o.o.: solution owing to which customer satisfaction rose to reach the score of 8.6 score in a 10 point scale in barely 8 months, which also contributed to improvement of financial results.
  • Category: Vibrant Workplace
    Schneider Electric: project aimed at increase in employee commitment, resulting in growth in the satisfaction from work as confirmed in an annual survey.
  • Category: Employer Branding
    Accenture Operations: campaign addressed to the Y and Z generation members which contributed to the increase in the number of applications for job with Accenture
  • Category: Corporate Social Responsibility
    UBS: organizing a holiday outing for children from disadvantaged families.
  • Category: Talent Development & Education
    Hitachi: teaching programme implemented in collaboration with the Economics University in Krakow, allowing the graduates to acquire the practical skills required by international business services centres.
