International Conferences


ABSL’s first international event: “Invest in Success: A Central European Strategic Summit”, held on September 29th in New York, proved to be a great success.

It gathered over 130 C-level executives from leading global companies — some with extensive operations in the region, others considering expansion there — discussing perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing investors in CEE region and how to use the potential of the whole region. The event was attended by major American companies, including P&G, HP, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, IBM, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, MoneyGram, Franklin Resources, Merrill Lynch.

Second ABSL International Conference, which took place on Nov 9th, 2016, in London, hosted numerous experts in finance, business, economy and politics, and among the guests were potential new investors and companies looking to broaden their scope of work.

The discussions revolved around Brexit and its consequences for the UK and the EU, as well as around Donald J. Trump’s win in the US Presidential election. Deputy Prime Minister Morawiecki has expressed his hope that economy in CEE region will benefit from the UK referendum and its outcome. Mr. Morawiecki also said that he hoped the relations with new US administration would also be positive and supporting Poland and other CEE countries.

We have also premiered our European report, the first publication of its kind, which takes a look at 20 most desirable business services destinations in the European Union. This issue, made in cooperation with Deloitte, Hays and JLL, might serve as guidelines for future investments in Europe.
