Chairman of the Statistics and Econometrics Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Chairman of the Social Sciences Group of the Council of Scientific Excellence. President of CFA Society Poland. He was a member of the Scientific Council of the National Bank of Poland and a member of the Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange and numerous supervisory boards.
