Tricity to host the 11th ABSL Summit 2020!


The Tricity is proud to announce that it will host the 11th Edition of the Association of Business Service Leader’s (ABSL) Summit: Beyond tomorrow. Building a sustainable future – an event organized by the most innovative companies in the world. The summit will take place on 4-5 June 2020 at Amber Expo in Gdańsk.

Representatives of the Pomerania Voivodeship both with the local governments of the cities of Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot and Invest in Pomerania - a nonprofit initiative, actively attracting investors and potential employees to the region, are the official partners of the Summit that will bring together world-class speakers and global business experts. The Summit will confront the vision of the future global economy shaped by the idea of sustainable development and the subsequent consequences for businesses.

The Summit will run on three tracks: People, Business and Technology. Each of these tracks will feature speakers and experts who will challenge the attendees to think about the changes in social attitudes. They will consider how to meet expectations towards businesses and the ethical dimensions of sustainability and the role of technology in bridging inequalities.

Local government of Pomerania Voivodeship both with the representatives of Gdańsk, Gdynia, Sopot and Invest in Pomerania look forward to making outstanding contributions based on their decade-long experience in developing and showcasing the business attractiveness of the Pomerania region.

-Tricity is one of the biggest service clusters in Poland. The region reported the highest increase in employment in service centers over the last three years – by 56%. Currently, 25,000 people work there, in almost 150 facilities. This shows how great conditions for investors are offered by the region. This is also a place, in which the authorities are constantly striving to improve the quality of life of all citizens in harmony with the principles of sustainable development. It makes Tricity a brilliant place to celebrate the beginning of the second decade of ABSL Summit known for its far-sighted agenda and the ever-increasing number of renowned speakers­.
