Entrepreneurs on the National Labour Inspectorate amendment

As a member of the Council of Entrepreneurship, ABSL has actively contributed to preparing a joint position on the draft act amending the Act on the National Labour Inspectorate and certain other acts (UD283).

Why is this important?
The current version of the draft raises serious legal and systemic concerns – both in terms of compliance with the Polish Constitution and its impact on the competitiveness of the Polish economy. The proposed solutions, including granting labour inspectors the authority to immediately reclassify civil law contracts, could generate enormous costs for businesses and create chaos in the labour market.

What do we emphasize in the appeal?

  • The need for a thorough re-analysis of the draft and consideration of comments submitted by the Government Legislation Centre (RCL) and the Ministry of Development and Technology (MRiT).
  • The importance of ensuring predictable cooperation conditions and labour market stability.
  • Implementation of solutions that will allow Poland to meet KPO obligations without causing negative consequences for the economy and employees.

ABSL, as an organization representing the business services sector, firmly believes that social dialogue and substantive consultations are key to developing safe and effective regulations.
