He joined Shell in 1994 and since then has held various positions at both regional and global levels. Piotr led Shell Chemicals in the CEE and CIS regions and was Shell Chemicals Sales Director for Latin America and a Board Member for Shell Brazil. Piotr was also responsible for global CVP and driving change in Shell Global Fuel Cards. Piotr contributed to setting up Shell Business Operations Krakow and was its General Manager for 6 years. In May 2017, he became General Manager of the Contracting and Procurement Operations Delivery Center while continuing to serve as Chairman of Shell Companies in Shell Poland. For many years, Piotr has been an active member at the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL), a leading organization representing the modern business services sector in Poland. Since 2016, he has held the position of Vice President & Member of the Board of Directors. In 2017, he was elected Chairman of the ABSL Strategic Board. Piotr Dziwok graduated from the Moscow State Automobile and Road Technical Institute, the Cracow University of Economics, and the University of Economics in Katowice. Piotr also received an MBA from the Carlson School of Minnesota. × DARIUSZ BAZELI VICE – PRESIDENT POMERANIA REGION Senior Manager with experience in strategic planning and execution, improving operational efficiency, structuring global work distribution and building highly efficient teams. Graduate of the IE Business School in Madrid. × MACIEJ BORKOWSKI, CREDIT SUISSE VICE – PRESIDENT NEW GENERATION SERVICES Director of Credit Suisse in the role of Chief Risk Office Poland Head based in Wroclaw. In his role he drives the development, vision and strategy across sites in Wroclaw and Warsaw. He is accountable for driving the right cultural behaviors in region, operational and regulatory effectiveness and is responsible for facilitating and overseeing the execution of processes and activities of the risk function in Poland. Mr. Borkowski joined Credit Suisse in 2011 with the target to set up and roll-out bank wide efficient finance operations. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Borkowski held a variety of financial and global project roles at HP. Mr. Borkowski holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Corporate Accounting. × EWA CARR DE AVELON, XL CATLIN VICE – PRESIDENT – WROCŁAW REGION Ewa Carr-de Avelon is heading the Poland Enterprise Shared Services center for XL Catlin, a global insurance and re-insurance company. As the general manager of the Polish branch, she manages the center with over 400 employees in Wroclaw. She has 25 years of professional experience, with nearly half of this time spent in various managerial roles in the shared services industry. Her experience includes heading the HR Service Centre for Credit Suisse Poland, and the Sales & Marketing organization for Hewlett Packard’s Global Business Services (HP), with responsibility for operations delivered out of Poland and Romania. Prior to joining the SSC sector, Ewa hold a number of positions in multinational NGOs dealing with cross-cultural communication and international educational. She graduated with a Master degree in German and Dutch Philology at the University of Wroclaw, and with a Master of Science in Strategic Quality Management at the Portsmouth University, UK. She also finished the Innovation and Entrepreneurial Certificate Program at the Stanford University, US. × IWONA DUDZIŃSKA, CITI VICE – PRESIDENT - WARSAW REGION Iwona Dudzinska has been leading AML Monitoring and Investigation EMEA Regional Financial Intelligence Unit Hub since 2015 until now. In addition to her AML responsibility, Iwona has been assigned the role of leading Citi Service Center Poland Head in Aug 2016. Iwona has been with Citi for more than 25 years, joining Citibank Representative Office in Poland in 1991 and then working for Citibank (Poland) SA managing different functions within Operations and Technology, like Market Operations, Cash and Trade, Customer Service or Citi Support Services. Post-acquisition of Bank Handlowy, Iwona was leading the effort to integrate processes and IT systems, rolling out Flexcube platform, building Citi Service Center in Olsztyn as well as centralizing and reengineering processes for Citi Handlowy. In her role of Poland Cluster Operations and Technology Head, Iwona has been key in extending the Services from Poland to other Citi Branches and setting up Citi Service Center Poland in Warsaw and Olsztyn, that now employs more than 4000 people. In 2003, after working a few years in the manufacturing and banking industry, she joined the project team responsible for setting up Philips Shared Services Center in Lodz, Poland and in 2007 played the key role in transition of Philips SSC to Infosys BPO. His role is not only limited to manage, but also develop, industrialize services and drive efficiency in line contractual targets. He is expanding with new delivery locations across Eastern Europe, leverage Global Delivery Network expansion in Brazil and APAC as well. At the same time Marcin Nowak is heading Global Service Line - Distributed Smart Services. DSS support is based on internal and third party vendor service structures across all geographical regions. Derek was the CFO and Business Manager for UBS' Private Equity business for 8 years. He joined Group Offshoring in 2005 and was first based in India for a year, where he was part of a team setting up the UBS India Service Centre in Hyderabad. In 2007 he moved to Krakow in Poland took on the role of CEO of the UBS Poland Service Centre. In 2010 he was appointed the Head of the Offshore Service Centres, including Poland and India and consisting of over 500 employees and contractors. From 2011 Derek was based in Zurich and worked on the Too Big To Fail program developing the Global Recovery Plan for UBS, and on project Accelerate, a major repositioning of UBS' investment bank. In 2013 he returned to offshoring and outsourcing, responsible for a global change program covering external suppliers and internal service centers. Derek is now Global Head of Outsourcing, Nearshoring and Offshoring Enablement and Governance for UBS. He is a founder and board member of ABSL, the Poland offshoring & outsourcing Association, the founder of the Women’s Business Network in Krakow and co-head of Diversity and Inclusion for the UBS COO area, which covers 40,000 people and a member of the UBS Global Diversity and Inclusion Council Derek was born in the United Kingdom and has both British and Swiss nationality, and is currently based in Zurich, Switzerland. His interests are tennis, travel, cooking and his daughters. × JACEK LEVERNES, FINTECO HOLDING HONORARY PRESIDENT Jacek Levernes is a senior executive with 20 years of leadership experience working across CEE, Europe and globally.
